Life is a Beach Travel

How to bring the beach with you, everywhere you go

Every year, in resorts, beach towns, and tropical paradises worldwide, how many times has this question been asked? This blog post is all about how to bring the beach with you.

Why don’t we just chuck it all and move here!?

It’s only when we get back home that we discover we already know the answer.

Family, jobs, responsibilities, and money.

It may be a nice thought to think about moving to a beach or an island, but for a lot of us, that’s just not realistic.

That’s why sometimes you gotta bring the beach to you.

Here are some easy and realistic ways to do that.

E-frames can help bring the beach to you

E-Frames, those picture frames that can present multiple digital photos in slideshow fashion are excellent for this purpose. Bring a couple of e-frames to work loaded with your favorite vacation photos or any other beachy image you find on the internet. E-frames are a great and discreet way you can keep the beach with you. It can serve as your little secret corner of paradise you can go to when things get a little stressful.

Here are some E-frames to get you started

Frameo sells a 10.1-inch e-frame with a 1289×800 LCD touchscreen that you can send photos to from anywhere in the world. Using the Frameo app, you can also share those same photos with anyone else who has a Frameo e-frame using Frameo’s app that you can get through Android or Apple. You can also use it to share videos.

AEEZO has a 10.1-inch, WiFi, LCD, touchscreen e-frame with 16GB of storage. It too uses the Frameo app to share and store photos. It is also wall mountable. AEEZO also sells an 8-inch e-frame, a 15.6-inch e-frame, and a 10-inch e-frame.

Make your place, your beach place

Oh boy! can have a lot of fun with your own space. Don’t be afraid to make your space your own. You can make your place as beachy as you want, with no limitations.

Turquoises, tans, all shades of blues, deep ambers, seashells, and brilliant oranges are good colors to start with. Think aqua foam-colored throw pillows on a tan couch or some other type of color combination.

Cabana-style furniture, hammocks, and netting are a good place to start!

You can usually find beach-related decor in craft stores, antique shops, and big box stores like Walmart and Target… Websites like eBay and Amazon are also good places to find things.

Sand, shells, and driftwood… what not to do

If you happen to live close to a place that naturally has sand, shells, and driftwood, then that’s great, visit! But please, don’t take anything! Seriously, don’t go taking those things home with you… The whole point of this post is to help those who don’t live near a beach. You’d spoil it for visitors to your “special place” if there wasn’t anything left to look at and admire. Instead, you can usually find beach-related decor in craft stores, antique shops, and big box stores like Walmart and Target. Websites like eBay and Amazon are also good places to find things. The sand, driftwood and shells you get from these places also already comes sterilized, saving you a couple of steps!

With stuff people don’t expect to see inside a house, it is better to start small, perhaps with a corner or a small out-of-the-way room. That way, you can easily reverse anything you do. Subtlety is often better.

Sound

One thing that can help ease you back into “reality” after a nice vacation is music.

Reggae of course comes to mind, but don’t forget about Hawaiian music, trop rock, or soukous.

According to WebMD, music, especially happy, uplifting music, can have a positive impact on your mental health

The memories that certain songs from your past can recall pleasant thoughts and events, mentally transporting you to another place and time. Trop rock, reggae, and other beach genres of music can take you back to that great place you lived in while in Florida or Greece, or perhaps that great vacation you had last year. and the rhythms or the feeling of a song can have a positive effect on your mood.
